The story of the 3 little pigs you have been told all your life is wrong. We had to learn lots like punctuation and expression listen to each other and most of all Team Work. We had to use screencastify, we had to have a clicker to know when to go to the nexts slide, and we all had to speak loud.
Here is a video of our Reader's Theatre.]

Kapa Haka

On Wednesday the 21st of November, we had Kapa Haka. We performed at the Turanganui Festival. It is a Festival where every school from over the town comes and does a performance.   When I got there I was so nervous. But first we watched the little kids, they were so cute and my brother did the haka with a broken foot, and he was wearing a moon boot (A moon boot is a shoe that goes on your foot so you can walk with your cast on)  Then it was our turn. I had butterflies in my tummy. My favorite part of the kapa haka was the poi. My principal Koka Nolian loved it and she started to cry. We had so much fun.

A few weeks ago we had a cafe day,You are probably wondering what cafe day is , well our class has been planning cafe day since term 2, Cafe day is a day were older people come and we give them a cup of tea, coffee and food. I was so excited when I got to school I gave some flowers and cookies that my Nana gave me to give to Koka Ngaire to set up for the cafe day. Everyone from our class helped bring some tables in for the elderly and our bookshelf and some games. Then we were all waiting for the elderly, when the first elderly person came we were all excited. Matariki Puzzle

This is my Matariki puzzle art. First you got a bit of paper with bit of puzzle bits on it then you went around the class. There was little cards we had to find then fill the puzzle bits in, with the card, it was really fun. It took us a long time to find the card and fill them in the puzzle bits and then after we found the cards and fill them in we had to colour. After we coloured, my hand was really sore.We cut out the puzzle bits and then glued it on a paper.  I am really happy about my work because I got it finished on time and it looks cool!

Egg experiment

Last week my reading  group did a egg experiment. We put a egg in a tall glass of vinegar then we left it for a week, It went all weird and soft and it could bounce!

The thing's we needed for this experiment was, vinegar, tall glass,  and a egg, and some very gentle hands

1. First we put and egg in the tall glass, gently

2. Then we put vinegar in very slowly

3.Then put the lid on.

4. Then put the egg and vinegar in  a safe place

After we put the lid on the glass we watch the egg. The egg got attacked with bubbles, the shell was disolving by the acid in the vinegar.  The next day we had to take the egg out and put fresh vinegar, in then we left it for the rest of the week.

4 days of timetable

Yay, it has been our first 4 weeks on using our digital timetable. It has been really fun, like when we get to choose what we want to do. Then we put it in our timetable. But first we have to go to our mail. The teachers  emails us a form that we have to fill in by choosing which workshops we want to go to during the week.  We choose one that is just right for us - so not too easy or not too hard but if the teacher wants you to be on a different workshop she or he changes it.

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we follow our timetable.  It is really fun and i think everyone loves it, and we want school to end at 4.00 not 3.00 it is that fun!  If we write our timetable on the weekend or Monday morning we are good for the week.

If we have gaps in our timetable you fill it in with activities like read to self, quick write, basic fact challenge or listen to reading.  It is really fun doing our timetable for the week  and it is super fun and i think if you come into our class you will love it too. !I LOVE MY TIMETABLE AND BET YOU WILL TO!

This is what my timetable looks like.
